General Cooling

We want you to keep your computer system cool with our coolers. Today's CPU processors can and will draw huge current to make CPU and motherboard components to generate heat.

Eventually this causes a system to be unstable. As a suggestion, we are offering thermal solutions to our customers. We recommend using the best coolers to ensure dissipation of heat.

* Use CPU thermal compound. Use generous amounts over the processor, between the CPU and heat sink/fan. This actually helps fill in the gaps between the two surfaces and spread the temperature more evenly with this combination.

* Use chassis fans, especially if you have a lot of peripherals installed. Consider using a large tower case to regulate ambient temperature effectively (that is if you don't have one already).

Cooling the 1U and 2U chassis

Due to the many different brands and styles of 1U chassis' available, and given the limitations of height and airflow in this type of chassis design, we're not sure which one is best solution for you. As information reference, we posted our thermal resistances for our coolers based on our 1U test systems. What works in one chassis, may not work in another.

Therefore, the best choice for cooling your 1U chassis can only be determined by your testing. We can suggest that you use our cooler for testing to ensure that you have the most stable cooling environment possible. Please contract our Sales Representatives sales@cooljagusa.com for a sample.

For the most part, 2U chassis' provide plenty of room for almost any combination of our 2U heatsink and fans to pass your tests. We strongly recommend that take our cooler for your testing.
